A. TSF SOUTHERN AFRICA NEWSFLASH SERVICE

The TSF Southern Africa runs a twice monthly news service to all our consultants, clients and country partners registered on our database. The purpose of this service is:

• To keep our consultants, clients and country partners updated about developments in the TSF Southern Africa
• To publicise important developments in the HIV and AIDS consulting environment across the region
• To discuss important HIV and AIDS topics relevant across the region
• To disseminate significant HIV and AIDS information across the region

Each month one of our newsflashes is prepared by a highly experienced consultant working in one of the TSF technical areas who will share insights and opinion about developments in the field.

B. TSF SOUTHERN AFRICA ELECTRONIC DISCUSSION GROUPS

The TSF Southern Africa is committed to the development of national and regional consultants. From 2007 we will be hosting a regular programme of electronic discussion groups on topics relevant to the HIV and AIDS consulting environment across the region. These topics will be linked to the TSF Newsflash Service. Topics will include technical areas related to HIV and AIDS consulting environment and aspects related to generic consulting skills. Technical topics will include:

• M&E
• HIV and AIDS Mainstreaming
• Issues facing the scale up of support to OVC
• Opt out VCT
• Circumcision
• Scale up of ART programmes
• What does universal access mean and how do we set targets?
• UNAIDS "Three Ones" in practice?
• Gender
